ESPN Loses 621,000 Subscribers; Worst Month In Company History
This is a great example of the seismic shift in viewing habits in the new digital entertainment space. This equals around $52 million in lost revenue.
Also interesting in this article is how their short-sighted agreements with the existing cable and satellite companies back in the day have left them without the opportunity to go over-the-top to subscribers.
